About the Role
The Transport Business in Lloyds Banking Group is undergoing transformative change, modernising its customer platforms while adapting to industry disruption—such as the electrification of mobility and dynamic market shifts. As a Finance Analyst in the Planning & Performance Reporting team, you will provide strategic financial insights, drive quality reporting, and shape business decisions across Transport and Retail Finance.
This initiative presents a high-impact opportunity to collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, challenge conventions, and develop professional relationships. Key Responsibilities
You’ll:
- Reduce guesswork: Lead month-end performance reviews and cash flow forecasts, ensuring your reporting informs data-backed business strategies.
- Retain specialist credibility: Become the go-to finance and management accounting advisor, including queries on financial disclosures, controls, and cost monitoring.
- Connect and collaborate: Build strong relationships with colleagues across the Finance function, translating data insights into clear narratives for colleagues and senior leaders.
- Upskill relentlessly: Maximise every learning opportunity, whether through peer feedback, formal training, or mentorship—helping you master today’s challenges and build expertise for tomorrow.
- Catalyse change: Drive recommended refinements to processes, controls, and data-sharing systems, driving improved efficiency and quality.
Who Are You?
Essential:
- Desired financial professional status:
- Nearing or qualified as an ACA, or holding equivalent credentials (e.g. ACCA, CIMA).
- Minimum 12 months analysing performance shifts, benchmarking, and advising senior teams.
- Minimum 12 months experience upholding or improving financial governance, controls, and policy adherence.
- Curiosity and boldness: Proven track record of reviewing processes and championing smarter ways of working.
- Collaborative mindset: Committed to forging solid working relationships and earning cross-functional trust.

Plus Points:
- Proficiency in Planning/Budgeting for revenue and operational metrics.
- Monthly Performance Reporting experience in a commercial environment, including exception/FLIP reporting.
- A background in Financial Services (but not essential).
- Expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, and digital reporting tools.
