- Site: East Croydon Head Office (with 2–3 days/month at our Distribution Centre in Dunstable)
- Office: Stylish, modern, and collaborative workspace near East Croydon Station.
- Hybrid model: 2 days remote, 3 days in-office (availability depends on role requirements).
- Hours: 37.5 hrs/week (Standard: 9:00am–5:30pm).

This role sits within the Online & Distribution Team (part of the wider Commercial Finance group: Trading Finance, Healthcare Finance, Retail Finance, Procurement, Property & Investment Finance).
You’ll provide financial analysis and operational support to senior stakeholders including:
- Supply Chain Director
- Finance Director
- CEO
- MD of Savers
- Warehouse & Transport Operations teams
Career growth: Ideal for candidates aiming to progress through industry-related accreditation via a formally supported apprentice scheme toward CIMA, ACA, or ACCA accreditation.
đź“Ś Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Distribution Finance
- Own and execute month-end cost posting for warehousing & distribution, ensuring accurate financial controls and reconciliation processes.
- Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations with high accuracy.
- Manage operations-specific costs (e.g., fleet reconciliations, IFRS16 lease accounting).
- Conduct general reconciliation work between monthly costs and operational trackers.
- Participate in weekly cost calls with Distribution Centre and Warehouse leadership.

Strategic Cost & Contract Analysis
- Perform contract spend analysis to support investment & tendering decisions.
- Track quarterly contract spend against budget/plans.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as needed by senior stakeholders.
🎓 Person Specification
Qualifications
- Either:
- A part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or
- A relevant degree (Accounting & Finance, Economics, Maths) with a minimum 2:1 grade.
Skills & Experience
- Excel proficiency (critical for analysis).
- Attention to detail with a diligent and self-motivated approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication and time management.
- Strong ability to develop cross-functional relationships—both within Finance and non-finance teams (e.g., third-party providers).
