Join the RAC as a Finance Analyst and play a key role in supporting the financial performance of our Head Office functions.
Working closely with stakeholders across areas such as HR, Health & Safety and Property & Facilities, you will manage and own the day-to-day financial support for these areas, providing financial insight, challenge and monthly reporting that helps drive informed decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to build their commercial finance experience within a large, customer-focused organisation.
What You'll Do
- Support the financial performance of Head Office business areas through monthly reporting, forecasting and analysis
- Produce accurate management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
- Support annual budgets, periodic reforecasts and ad-hoc analysis to inform business decisions
- Monitor and report on project spend, and financial performance against agreed targets
- Provide financial insight and challenge to stakeholders, helping drive improved business performance
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities through detailed analysis and reporting
- Support cost efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement activities across the business
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, accounting standards and governance requirements
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across Head Office functions

What You'll Need
- Studying towards ACA, CIMA or ACCA, with 1-2 years' finance experience gained within a commercial, corporate or accounting environment
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Experience producing financial reports, budgets and forecasts
- A curious and analytical mindset, with a desire to understand the story behind the numbers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive approach with a keen eye for detail
- The confidence to challenge constructively and influence decision-making
- A desire to continuously improve processes and ways of working

- Location: Bescot (hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 from home)
