The Role
As a Finance Analyst within the Garages Finance team, you’ll occupy a strategic position at the intersection of commercial finance and FP&A, with exposure across operations, mobile, and property finance.
- Reporting to: Head of Finance for Garage Operations.
- Core responsibility: Own the end-to-end monthly risks and opportunities process; lead performance management reporting for senior stakeholders and key committees.
- Diverse daily tasks:
- Coordinate submissions and review meetings.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Serve as the bridge between Group FP&A and Garages Finance.
- Develop KPI analysis, trial modelling, and profitability assessments for Operations, Mobile, and Property Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Monthly risks and opportunities:
- Coordinate submissions, analyse data, and lead review meetings.
- Performance reporting:
- Plan, collate, and deliver key performance management decks (e.g., Monthly Business Performance Review, Garage Services Transformation submissions).
- Budgeting & forecasting:
- Drive process improvements across annual and quarterly cycles.
- Cross-functional link:
- Ensure Group FP&A delvierables are on time and accurate.
- KPI and analysis support:
- Collaborate with Operations, Mobile, and Property Finance for data insights.
- Procurement alignment:
- Manage relationships between Group Procurement and Garages Finance.
- Ad hoc support:
- Contribute to wider Commercial Finance team objectives.
About You
We’re looking for passionate individuals with the following attributes:
- Qualification & insight:
- Studying towards a professional qualification (e.g., CIMA or ACCA).
- Strong commercial acumen and curiosity.
- Technical & analytical:
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for large dataset manipulation and clear stakeholder presentations.
- Experience with SAP, Power BI, Copilot, or AI tools is beneficial.
- Attention to detail:
- Ensure accuracy and relevance in all performance management decks.
- Commercial mindset:
- Distil complex data into senior-decisionable insights.
- Communication & adaptability:
- Comfortable liaising across all business levels and tailoring communication styles.
- Teamwork & initiative:
- Proactive, fast-learning, and driven by results in a fast-paced environment.
