Finance Analyst - Graduate Entry Level - Retail

Graduate Entry Level Position - Finance Analyst – Luxury Consumer Brands

Location: Central London - West End Salary: Competitive + Study Support + Benefits Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recent graduate or early-career finance professional to join a well-established luxury consumer brand as a Finance Analyst.

This role offers an excellent entry point into commercial finance and accountancy, providing hands-on experience across:

  • Financial reporting
  • Budgeting
  • Forecasting
  • Business partnering
  • Performance analysis

You'll work alongside experienced finance professionals who will support your development and help you build a successful career in finance.

Whether you've recently completed a Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or Business-related degree, or have gained some initial finance experience through internships, placements or an entry-level finance role, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with month-end reporting and management accounts preparation.
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Performing financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Helping to reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain financial records.
  • Analysing sales, margin, and business performance data.
  • Supporting audit preparation and financial compliance activities.
  • Working with stakeholders across the business to understand and control costs.
  • Producing ad-hoc reports and financial insights for decision-making.
  • Assisting with commission calculations, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Supporting the use of data, systems, and emerging technologies to improve reporting processes.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate (or graduating soon) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related subject.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in accountancy or commercial finance.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good Excel skills and confidence working with data.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Interest in luxury, retail, consumer, or lifestyle brands would be advantageous but not essential.
