Finance Analyst – Investment Finance Team
Goodman Masson are partnering with a leading global private markets investment firm to recruit a Finance Analyst into their Investment Finance Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to gain broad exposure across private equity, private credit, and wider private markets strategies within a highly commercial finance function. The role supports investment, investor-facing and treasury teams, offering exposure to live investment activity, liquidity management, fundraising support, and strategic finance projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
- Partner with investment teams to support new transactions, ensuring appropriate funding, liquidity, and operational readiness throughout the investment lifecycle;
- Support treasury activities, including cashflow forecasting, liquidity management, foreign exchange (FX) execution, and financing arrangements across multiple investment vehicles;
- Prepare commercial analysis and reporting to support senior management on liquidity, investment activity, fund performance, and treasury strategy;
- Collaborate with Investor Relations to assist in fundraising, performance analysis, and investor due diligence requests;
- Work with finance, legal, and operational teams to establish new investment structures and fund launches;
- Coordinate with external service providers (e.g., fund administrators and auditors) for quarterly reporting and annual financial statements;
- Contribute to process improvement, automation, and systems enhancement initiatives, partnering with finance and technology teams to enhance efficiency and scalability;
- Support cross-functional projects across finance, investment, treasury, and operations as the business grows.

Key Requirements
- Recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 0–3 years of post-qualification experience;
- Experience in a Big 4 audit or corporate finance practice (e.g., Audit, Transaction Services, M&A), or within industry (e.g., Fund Accounting, Investment Banking Graduate Rotations) in Private Equity, Private Credit, Investment Management, or broader Financial Services;
- 2:1 degree (or above) and A-Level Mathematics (A grade or higher);
- Exceptional analytical ability with meticulous attention to detail;
- Advanced Excel skills, including strong experience with financial data and modelling;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and build cross-team relationships;
- Proactive mindset, self-confidence in ownership, problem-solving, and driving process improvements;
- Previously exposed to treasury, liquidity management, cashflow forecasting, fund structures, financing, capital markets, or investment performance analysis – an advantage.
