Finance Analyst - Private Equity

Finance Analyst – Investment Finance Team

Goodman Masson are partnering with a leading global private markets investment firm to recruit a Finance Analyst into their Investment Finance Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to gain broad exposure across private equity, private credit, and wider private markets strategies within a highly commercial finance function. The role supports investment, investor-facing and treasury teams, offering exposure to live investment activity, liquidity management, fundraising support, and strategic finance projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

The firm is recognised for its strong track record of developing finance talent, with many team members progressing internally as their responsibilities grow. Individuals are encouraged to take ownership, contribute ideas, and develop commercial knowledge of the investment lifecycle. The culture is collaborative, meritocratic, and low-hierarchy, where early stage performers gain meaningful responsibilities and exposure.

The successful candidate will thrive in a high-profile, fast-paced team where proactive thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and influence are critical to success.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
