Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you will bring

We are looking for a hands-on finance professional who balances analytical rigour with the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across the production floor.

  • Experience: You should have a proven track record in an FMCG, food or high-volume manufacturing operational finance role, alongside proven business partnering experience with operational functions. Ideally, you are a part-qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant with one to two years’ experience.
  • Hard Skills: You must possess advanced Excel skills and strong systems capability in SAP (or a similar ERP) and integrated MES systems for product costing, inventory and process order management; knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is desirable.
  • Soft Skills: A strong communicator who can look beyond the data, you are comfortable investigating issues, asking challenging questions and drawing independent conclusions while holding colleagues accountable for costs and internal controls.

Why join us

This is a pivotal role where you won't just be crunching numbers; you will have the autonomy to investigate operational variances and the authority to drive real change in our cost-improvement processes.
