SDUK's brands include the Nation’s favourite cheese brand Cathedral City plus other well-known butter & spreads (Clover, Country Life, Vitalite, Utterly Butterly), dairy ingredients and dairy-free products.

We are seeking a proactive and commercially-minded Finance Analyst to join our team in Weybridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to partner with our Commercial and Marketing teams, providing accurate and insightful financial analysis that drives strategic decision-making and business growth.

Working Monday - Friday, this role is based at our Weybridge office with the option to work from home up to one day per week based on business need.

YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY…

  • Analysing and clearly communicating the key drivers behind volume, sales, and margin variances on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Ensuring promotional activities and price changes are approved promptly, helping to eliminate pricing errors.
  • Supporting the finance team with accurate and timely financial reporting across the business.
  • Reviewing promotional activity to ensure it aligns with brand strategies and delivers financial value.
  • Providing ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support to highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Quantifying and communicating the financial impact of customer agreements and joint business plans.
  • Recommending and constructively challenging changes to annual customer terms to drive growth and profitability.
  • Validating forecast assumptions and ensuring system forecasts reflect the most accurate and up-to-date view.
  • Championing financial controls and procedures, including balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes.
