Finance Analyst at Ventrica
We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our team here at Ventrica. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and making a real impact on the business. You'll support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, providing valuable insights that help drive better business decisions. Working closely with teams across the organisation, you'll build strong relationships, challenge performance, and help identify opportunities for growth and improvement. If you're analytical, commercially minded, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Experience in a Contact Centre or BPO environment is an advantage, but not essential.
What you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis across the business.
- Providing commercial insight and analysis of results, identifying underlying trends, and challenging the business on performance.
- Responsibility for the preparation and publishing of accurate and timely management reports, including an analysis of Incomes and Expenditures.
- Root-cause analysis i.e. digging into the details of why an area of the business is over or under budget and collaborating with business leaders to course-correct.
- Take ownership of performance management for the business including identifying and reporting KPIs which are linked to company strategy and drive positive actions.
- Prepare financial forecasts and budgets.
- Building dynamic models that tie revenue and costs to underlying operational metrics (e.g., headcount, sales volume) rather than just historical averages.
- Support and challenge the operations teams with financial issues including providing financial training.
- Adopting a partner / challenger role in evaluating business plans.
- Ensure integrity of financial data supplied by financial accounting team to other areas of the business and to external stakeholders.

Hours and Location:
- 37.5 hours per week
- 09:00-17:30 Monday to Friday
- Remote work (you must be based in the UK) with some travel to our office in Southend-On-Sea
- For the first/second week there will be a travel requirement for 2-3 days
- After the first 2 weeks, travel will be around 2-3 times per year
