About Raytheon UK

Raytheon UK has an exciting new opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our Weapons Programme finance team, based in Harlow. As Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high quality, accurate and actionable financial analysis and insight to the Finance and Programme teams. Our Finance Analyst will be relied upon to support the development of the AOP and 5 Year Plan, project accounting (EACs), monthly forecasting and variance analysis.

You must be eligible and willing to gain BPSS and SC clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production of Weekly and Monthly Reporting requirements
  • Providing day-to-day financial aid for key stakeholders
  • Month-end close activities, including journal preparation
  • Supporting the achievement of all metrics (bookings, sales, profit, cash).
  • Support in the establishment of the AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and five-year plan targets.
  • Champion best practice and act as the “financial conscience” of the business and ensure Business and Financial Policy adherence.
  • Supporting new business proposals as and when required for Gate Reviews including pricing, basis-of-estimate generation, foreign exchange management and risks and opportunities management.
  • Providing financial insight to support the business risk & opportunities process (development, analysis, mitigation & review).
  • Building a network with all Stakeholders.

Required Experience

  • AAT Qualified/ Part Qualified
  • CIMA(Preferred)/ACCA
  • Experience in finance roles
  • Business Partnering skills, working across different internal functions

Desirable Experience

  • Experience of working with SAP, Power BI, MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Project Accounting experience
  • Attention to detail and process adherence
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, stay organised when working to deadlines and thrive in fast paced environments
