Finance Analyst / Senior Finance Analyst (Fixed Term Contract, 12 Months)
About the Role

As a Finance Analyst within the Content & Platform Finance team, you will drive financial clarity across content investments and platform costs, delivering insightful analysis to inform strategic decision-making. You’ll take full ownership of essential reporting and forecasting duties, collaborating closely with stakeholders to assess performance, identify risks, and support both short- and long-term planning.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Month-End
- Own the month-end close process for Content & Platform Finance, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Provide clear commentary on performance, explaining key variances against the plan.
- Oversee analysis of specified cost areas.
Forecasting & Planning
- Support forecasting and budgeting processes, owning defined P&L segments.
- Maintain and refine financial models to reflect robust assumptions.
- Monitor performance against forecasts and flag proactive risks/opportunities.

Content & Commercial Analysis
- Analyse content performance and cost efficiency, spotting trends for optimisation.
- Translate data into actionable insights for investment decision-making.
Business Partnering
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across finance, commercial, and cross-functional teams.
- Interpret financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
- Offer constructive challenge and guidance to enhance decision-making.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, workflows, and efficiency.
- Drive automation of manual processes.
- Ensure high standards of data accuracy and integrity.
Communication & Insights
- Present analysis concisely and persuasively in verbal and written formats.
- Adapt communication for diverse audiences.
- Prioritise insight-led, impactful messaging over tangential details.
What You’ll Need
We’re looking for a newly qualified finance professional (or part-qualified) with an analytical mindset and experience in a high-performing commercial finance environment. While Content/Streaming sector knowledge is a plus, it’s not mandatory.
**Essential:
- Insightful financial analysis that creates measurable value and demonstrates good judgment.
- Strong communicational skills, verbally and in writing, with ability to build cross-functional relationships and engage internal teams.
- A proactive, improvement-focused attitude – comfortable challenging the status quo and suggesting enhancements.
- Curiosity to learn and remain adaptable.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and own deliverables independently.
- Meticulous attention to detail and numerical confidence.
- Comfort operating in a structured, process-driven environment.

Where You’ll Work
Our hybrid working model runs on this structure:
- In-office requirement: 2–3 days per week, with Mondays & Thursdays fixed (optional flexibility on the 3rd day) to maximise collaboration.
- Base: Osterley, on the Sky campus (10-minute walk to Syon Lane train station).
