Finance & Office Administrator

Lexarox Accounts | London E8 (Hackney) | Full-time, office-based | £15–£18/hour (approx. £29,000–£37,000 FTE), depending on experience

Summary

Lexarox Accounts is an established London accountancy practice looking for an organised, capable Finance & Office Administrator to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role at the centre of the firm — combining finance and credit control with front-of-house client service and office administration. Just as importantly, we want someone who will help us bring structure, improve our systems and take ownership of how the office runs day to day. If you're equally comfortable managing an invoice, picking up the phone to a client, and spotting a smarter way of doing things, we'd love to hear from you.

What the role involves

  • Finance & credit control — managing invoicing and billing, chasing overdue payments, reconciliations, and keeping our client accounts accurate and on time
  • Client service & front of house — being a first point of contact for clients by phone and email, handling enquiries and keeping communication warm and professional
  • Office administration — maintaining client records, managing correspondence and documents, and supporting the wider team
  • Organisation & improvement — helping us tidy and streamline how things are done, introducing better systems and making the office run more smoothly
  • Coordination — working with our admin support and the accounts team to keep things moving

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
