Finance & Tax Director

Brewer Morris is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a highly successful and rapidly growing private equity fund as it looks to appoint a Finance & Tax Director into its London-based finance leadership team.

This role will be an initial FTC (6 - 12 months). With a view to evolving into a permanent role down the line.

This is a rare opportunity to join a sophisticated international investment platform at a pivotal stage of growth. The successful individual will take ownership of tax, financial reporting and treasury matters across a complex multi-jurisdictional structure, working closely with senior leadership, external advisers, auditors and board stakeholders. Offering exceptional exposure, variety and influence, this role would suit an experienced finance professional who enjoys operating at both strategic and technical levels within a fast-paced investment environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all UK and international tax matters across the fund and associated holding structures
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisers and oversee tax planning, structuring and compliance activities
  • Provide tax input on acquisitions, disposals, refinancings and new investment structures
  • Maintain oversight of VAT, employment tax and other indirect tax obligations
  • Take ownership of IFRS technical accounting matters and accounting policy development
  • Review and challenge financial statements, NAV calculations and reporting prepared by third-party administrators
  • Act as the senior finance lead on treasury activities, financing arrangements and refinancing initiatives
  • Manage banking relationships, liquidity planning and cash management across the group
  • Oversee debt facilities, covenant compliance, interest rate hedging and FX risk management
  • Structure cross-border cash repatriation and intercompany funding arrangements
  • Support board and audit committee reporting on tax, treasury and financial reporting matters
  • Contribute to risk management, internal controls and governance processes across the organisation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
