Finance Assistant

The Finance Assistant role involves providing essential support to the accounting and finance department. Based in Folkestone, this temporary position offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while utilising your financial skills.

Description

  • Process invoices and ensure accurate data entry into financial systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
  • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies as needed.
  • Support the finance team with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Maintain organised financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Respond to internal and external queries regarding financial matters.
  • Assist with the preparation of payroll data and related tasks.
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance department.

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • A strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
