Finance Assistant

Description
- Process invoices and ensure accurate data entry into financial systems.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies as needed.
- Support the finance team with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain organised financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Respond to internal and external queries regarding financial matters.
- Assist with the preparation of payroll data and related tasks.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance department.

Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- An understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team in a not-for-profit environment.
