Location: Chester House, Kennington Park, London, SW9

Job Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Up to £29,000 gross per year

Preferred Start Date: 10 August 2026

Working Pattern: Hybrid – with a minimum of three designated office days per week

Probation Period: Three months

Oliver’s Travels is a leading luxury villa specialist, creating extraordinary holidays in some of the world’s most desirable destinations. We’re looking for an organised and detail-focused Finance Assistant to join our Finance team.

About the Role

You’ll support the day-to-day financial management of our bookings, ensuring that payments, refunds, reconciliations and supplier invoices are processed accurately and on time. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a high-performing Finance team. You’ll develop a strong understanding of the commercial side of the business while supporting essential finance processes that contribute directly to the company’s success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record payments made to suppliers and received from clients.
  • Reconcile our booking system against third-party payment platforms.
  • Complete daily finance checks and upload payments to the relevant portals.
  • Investigate discrepancies and respond to booking-related finance queries.
  • Process and record client and property-owner refunds.
  • Process supplier invoices accurately and on time.
  • Support month-end activities, including journals and account reconciliations.
  • Communicate with property owners regarding payments, statements and other financial matters.
  • Assist with financial reporting, ad hoc analysis and audit documentation.
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve finance-related booking issues.
  • Ensure all activity complies with accounting principles and company policies.

About You

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous finance, bookkeeping or accounts administration experience.
  • Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills.
  • An understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience using finance, booking or payment systems would be an advantage.
