About The Role
Following a recent acquisition, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a business transition project, focusing on reconciling outstanding supplier balances, resolving historic ledger issues, and supporting the integrity of our financial data.
This role would suit someone with a strong background in purchase ledger or accounts payable who enjoys investigating discrepancies, solving complex issues, and delivering accurate results.

Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex account balances.
- Experience working with high-volume transactions and legacy data clean-up (desirable).
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Confidence using finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
