Finance Assistant
The Finance Assistant role involves supporting the accounting and finance department with daily financial operations. This position is based in Haywards Heath and requires strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure accurate financial records.

Description
- Process and maintain accurate financial records, including invoices and payments.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow.
- Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial queries.
- Contribute to the improvement of financial systems and processes.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date documentation for audit purposes.
- Provide general support to the accounting and finance team as needed.

Profile
A Successful Finance Assistant Should Have
- A background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- AAT or similar
- An ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
