Looking for a Finance role within the hospitality sector?
Join our team at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms as a Finance Assistant and be at the heart of the venue's back of house operations.
As a Finance Assistant you will play a vital role within the Finance department ensuring the smooth financial functioning of the Hotel. From processing purchase ledger and sales ledger invoices to chasing payments and creating invoices for our valued clients. You’ll also have an opportunity to support with month-end reporting, handle daily banking tasks and reconcile credit card transactions – all while maintaining strict adherence to financial and client deadlines.
This role involves working 40 hours per week on site - Monday to Friday.
To be successful as a Finance Assistant you will have:
- Previous experience in finance or a relevant qualification, demonstrating your understanding of financial processes
- An interest in the hospitality and events industry and the ability to deliver high standards of service
- The ability to work effectively with numbers and communicate with others both from within the Hotel and external clients
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and in particular Microsoft Excel. While experience with accounting software & Opera is desirable, it is not essential – we value your ability to adapt and learn.
