Detail-oriented, with a knack for clear communication and teamwork?

We're looking for a dedicated Finance Assistant to be the key onsite financial contact for our hotel team — working closely with hotel management and the central finance team to keep our financial reporting, audit processes and daily operations running accurately and to standard.

The Role

  • Provide essential financial information to management accountants and the regional financial controller
  • Offer financial support and guidance to Hotel General Managers and department teams
  • Process and reconcile daily cash and credit card banking, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Audit the work of hotel teams against established standards and requirements
  • Follow audit procedures and security requirements to meet company and hotel standards
  • Deliver consistently great customer service through our Customer Service Programme
  • Attend required training and comply with health and safety, fire procedures and other statutory legislation
  • Audit daily business activities and maintain accuracy in hotel accounts
  • Provide weekly and monthly EPS payroll analysis reports for hotel review
  • Monitor and review EPSYS, preparing GRNI at month-end
  • Deliver timely, informative financial information, working closely with the shared service team
  • Support hotel teams in monitoring and reporting on KPIs, ensuring policy compliance
  • Liaise with the Corporate Risk Internal Auditor to maintain tight financial controls, including PCI and GDPR compliance
  • Assist SSC management accountants with data for monthly forecasts

What We're Looking For

  • An effective communicator with a customer-focused approach
  • Proficient in financial reporting and analysis
  • Strong initiative and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of financial and property management systems, including SUN (Financial), PMS (Opera, Brilliant, OnQ), EPSYS (purchasing), EPS (payroll) and EPOS (Maitre D, Micros, Brilliant)
