Finance Assistant Hybrid (based in Belfast HQ 3 days a week)

Kickstart Your Career in Finance This is an exciting opportunity for a school leaver or early-career candidate to join our Finance team and build a career from the ground up.

You don’t need loads of experience – just the right attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn. In return, we’ll support you with hands-on experience across all areas of finance, guiding you towards a recognised industry qualification. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, supportive environment where no two days are the same, gaining exposure to real business operations from day one.

We’re committed to your growth from day one:

Study support to qualify as an Accounts Technician (e.g., ATI / AAT) after 12 months. Exposure to a wide range of finance activities. Structured development through our My Performance & Growth Framework Mentorship from experienced finance professionals Opportunities to progress within the team as you grow

What You’ll Be Doing You’ll get involved across the full finance function, including:

Work in a fast-paced or deadline-driven environment Supporting the invoicing process – helping create and track customer invoices Assisting with payments and cash tracking Helping manage supplier invoices and purchase orders Supporting bank reconciliations and financial checks Responding to queries from colleagues and customers in a professional way Working with teams across different countries and departments Assisting with month-end reporting and finance projects Learning how to use tools and systems to improve efficiency, including AI-enabled processes

You’ll rotate and support different areas of finance such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and reporting – giving you broad exposure early in your career.

What We’re Looking For This is an early-career role; while formal experience isn’t essential, we’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate some exposure to responsibility, work or structured commitments and the following: A positive, eager-to-learn attitude Strong attention to detail and organisation skills Comfortable working with numbers and data Good communication skills – you enjoy working with others Confident using Microsoft Office (or willing to learn quickly) Ability to take ownership and show initiative Ability to travel 3 days a week to work in our Belfast Office

Desirable (we’d especially love to see) Some exposure to a work environment (e.g. part-time job, internship, volunteering or family business) Evidence of interest in finance, business or data (e.g. subject choice, self-learning, project work) Experience using Excel beyond basics (e.g. formulas, organising data)

Qualifications: 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above, including: Maths (essential) – to support financial accuracy and data handling English (essential) – for clear communication with colleagues and customers
