Salary: £29,000
Hours: Full time 37.5hrs per week (Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm)
A well-established rural property management business, servicing clients in Herefordshire, Shropshire, surrounding counties and Wales. They have an exciting opportunity to join their clients accounts servicing team in their Hereford office.
The successful candidate will join a team of finance assistants managing their own portfolio of clients. This team is responsible for a range of accounting processes including sales & purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, VAT returns and management reporting. Ideally the candidate will be AAT qualified or working towards qualification.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain client’s sales ledger, to include monthly rent demand generation, receipting of rents & monitoring of aged debtors.
- Maintain client’s purchase ledger, to include processing of invoices, preparing BACS payment & monitoring of aged creditors.
- Monthly reconciliation of client’s bank accounts.
- Prepare VAT returns (including Partial Exemption calculations).
- Prepare monthly management reports for clients, including client statements and cash flow analysis.
- Prepare annual accounts information to forward onto client’s accountants.
