Finance Assistant – Payroll Support
Location: Care Concern Group Ltd, Link Spaces, Botanica, Ditton Park, Riding Court Road, Slough SL3 9LL
Hours: Full time
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Contract Type: Permanent
About The Role
We are looking for a Finance Assistant – Payroll Support to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for supporting payroll, supplier payments, cash management, reporting, and compliance activities, ensuring financial processes are completed accurately and on time.
The successful candidate will help maintain efficient financial operations, support management reporting, strengthen financial controls, and contribute to the smooth running of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on time.
- Administer supplier payments and maintain payment records.
- Support cash management and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with financial reporting and month-end processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Respond to payroll and payment queries.
- Support continuous improvement of finance processes and controls.

About You
You will have:
- Experience in a finance, payroll, or accounts administration role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good numerical and organisational skills.
- Experience using payroll and finance systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- The ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
