Finance Assistant
Rising Ballers is the home of football culture. Followed by footballers, musicians, influencers & more, our digital media platform reaches 100M+ people monthly and with that we have a responsibility to entertain and educate. Alongside this, Rising Ballers partners with leading blue chip brands that have shared values with our long-term vision. We help partners tap into Gen Z, and alongside that, we create lasting moments with them - whether that is memorable content, popular events & more. We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team and support our activity with key partners - the likes of Adidas, PlayStation, BBC & more. This is an exciting role with ample room for progression. Immediate start with max 4 weeks notice is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning the accounts payable process end-to-end
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and on time
- Coding invoices to the correct accounts and projects
- Managing the AP inbox and resolving supplier queries
- Preparing and executing bi-monthly payment runs
- Ensuring correct approvals and payment controls are followed
- Supporting visibility on upcoming cash outflows
- Managing staff expenses & company cards
- Reconciling company card spend
- Supporting broader finance operations
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Raising accounts receivable (AR) invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Supporting month-end processes (accruals, prepayments, reporting prep)
- Helping improve processes as the business scales

Key Skills/Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in a finance / accounts payable role
- Strong understanding of AP processes and controls
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong Excel skills (including basic formulas and reconciliations)
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
- Experience with cloud accounting tools such as QuickBooks
- Familiarity with expense and invoice tools like Dext
- Experience in a media, agency, or fast-paced environment
