Job Role: Finance Assistant
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + bonus + benefits
Location: Bath - hybrid from your first day (2 office days)

Your Impact:
As a Finance Assistant at Contracts Advance, you'll support the smooth running of the finance function, helping with sales ledger activity, invoicing, reconciliations, payroll preparation and day-to-day finance administration.
Day to day you will:
- Support sales ledger maintenance, debt chasing and accurate invoice processing.
- Process supplier invoices, respond to supplier and client queries and support timely payments.
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
- Assist with payroll preparation, including gathering information, wage payments and HMRC support.
- Support balance sheet reconciliations, P&L preparation, finance inbox management and ad hoc analysis projects.

You'll Thrive in This Role If You Have:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar finance role, ideally within an SME environment.
- Good working knowledge of Xero or similar finance software, plus Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail.
- A proactive, positive and methodical approach, with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and reliably
- AAT study or similar would be a bonus.
