About Oddbox
As much as 2.5 billion tonnes of food are wasted globally every year – which plays a big part in the climate crisis. We're on a mission to change that, with rescued fruit and veg from hard-working growers, alongside plastic-free ingredients and brands that do good for the planet.
With fruit, veg and more delivered right to your door, we're working towards a fairer food system – one where growers are supported and paid fairly, where produce doesn't have to look 'perfect' and, most importantly, where we never waste taste. No more unnecessary air miles or plastic – just delicious food that fights waste with every box.
The Role
As our Finance Assistant, you'll play an important role in keeping our day-to-day finance operations running smoothly. Supporting both accounts payable and accounts receivable, you'll work closely with the wider finance team to ensure transactions are processed accurately, records are maintained and colleagues receive great support.
This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone with experience in a finance or accounts function who enjoys working with detail, building great working relationships and continuously improving the way things are done. It's a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a purpose-driven business where you'll make a real impact from day one.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
