Job Description

Join TOMRA as a Finance Assistant & Administrator and play a key role in supporting our Finance Manager and wider business operations. This part-time position (20 hours per week) combines finance and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth processes and excellent internal support. The role is based in Leicester, UK, and requires regular attendance at our office.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing purchase invoices and matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Assisting with supplier payment runs
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Supporting credit control activities
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations
  • Supporting month-end processes
  • Supporting external and internal audit activities
  • Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets
  • Processing employee expenses
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
  • Supporting the shared finance inbox and handling ad hoc tasks
  • Supporting the Finance Manager when required
  • Providing administrative support for People & Organisation and company fleet administration

Qualifications

Essential

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience using accounting software or ERP systems
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Good communication skills and a structured working style

  • AAT qualification completed or currently in progress
