Based - Worksop, Nottinghamshire 22.5 hours per week (part time) Salary - £30,000 per annum FTE (pro-rata) Fixed Term Contract - 8 months

We're looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team in Worksop on an 8-month fixed-term contract, providing essential support to our Grocery Finance team across multiple manufacturing sites.

About the Role

As Finance Assistant, you'll be a key member of the Finance team, supporting financial reporting, analysis, and month-end activities across our Worksop, Ashford, and Andover sites. You'll work closely with Finance, Operations, and Engineering teams, helping to ensure accurate reporting and supporting business performance.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Analysing stock performance and write-offs
  • Supporting stock count investigations and variance analysis
  • Producing yield variance reports and presentations
  • Updating volume and forecast data
  • Managing GRNI clear-downs and resolving SAP queries
  • Supporting month-end reporting and journal preparation
  • Producing departmental overhead spend reports
  • Assisting with internal and external audit requirements

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an organised and analytical individual who enjoys working with data and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.

You'll need:

  • Strong Excel skills - and a love for running reports!
  • Previous finance, administration, or reporting experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • SAP experience would be advantageous but not essential
