The Role: Finance Assistant (London, Full-Time, Permanent)

Responsible for financial records management and ad-hoc reporting. Key responsibilities include:
Core Tasks:
- Purchase Invoice Processing
- Processing all group purchase invoices.
- Ensuring timely supplier payments.
- Cash Book Management
- Assisting with maintenance of office cash books.
- Receipting and debiting transactions on Risk Manager.
- Audit & Compliance
- Responding to audit queries.
- Evaluating origin-related documents for accuracy.
- Administrative Support
- Supporting team members with day-to-day queries or ad-hoc requests.
- Monthly Procedures
- Assisting with month-end closings.
- Producing month-end reports.
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
- 12+ months in an administration role.
- GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent) or accredited alternative.
Skills:
- Financial & Numerical Proficiency:
- Strong analytical and accuracy skills.
- Advanced Excel knowledge (formulae: SUM, COUNT, VLOOKUP, IF, LEFT/MID/RIGHT, Pivot Tables).
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Microsoft Office packages.
- Soft Skills:
- Proactive, self-motivated, and inititative-driven.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written).
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and time management.
