THE COMPANY
Our Client constantly delivers several film and television packages for their audiences. Their strong reputation and market knowledge enables them to produce several successful projects.
THE ROLE
As a Finance Assistant, you will take a hands-on role in various projects, gaining invaluable experience while collaborating with a skilled and knowledgeable team.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing and issuing invoices for both sales, suppliers and any staff expenses
- Maintain the company sales ledger
- Organise and process balance sheets, income statements and other management account reports under the supervision of the Accounting team
- Assisting with the preparation of payroll
- Reconciling the company’s numerous bank accounts
- Provide key assistance to the preparation of project and corporate financial analysis and reconciliations
- Provide ad hoc assistance to the wider team on various additional financial projects.

THE PERSON
A natural with numbers, the candidate will have a clear interest in pursuing a career in finance long-term, ideally with visible steps already taken to allow for this. A passion for cinema and a strong interest in the entertainment industry is also desirable, with previous experience working with a wider team in a fast paced, numbers-driven environment. Experience with software like Xero accounts software is highly beneficial and it is important that you are able to prioritise and complete multiple tasks while maintaining focus on the broader goals.
