The Role
As a Finance Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in optimising productivity and ensuring financial accuracy across GLI’s global operations. This is a dynamic, fast-paced position suited for someone who thrives in a multi-faceted environment, where attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork are essential. You’ll have the opportunity to:

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Administration:
- Process all financial transactions, including client payments and invoice payments
- Track and maintain accurate financial records

Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements
- Prepare receipts, invoices, and ensure accounting accuracy
- Support audit preparatory tasks and external audits
- Compile annual reports and financial data for annual audits

System & Expense Management:
- Enter certification charges and re-billable expenses (e.g., courier and internet) into the accounting system
- Coordinate monthly invoicing preparation and mail

Vendor & Bank Relations:
- Maintain relationships with banks, fiscal offices, and external auditors

Additional Duties:
- Duty to assist in other related administrative tasks as required
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience:
- 2+ years of administrative experience; accounting or finance experience is preferred
- Familiarity with payroll systems is a plus
Education:
- Degree in [Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred]
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is essential
- Advanced skills in spreadsheet analysis are an asset
Soft Skills:
- Outstanding verbal, written, and organisational communication in English
- High-level attention to detail and accuracy under scrutiny
- Capacity to handle multiple projects while managing tight deadlines and priorities
- Exhibits professionalism, strong problem-solving abilities, and a sense of urgency
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining emissary organisational support
