The Role
A broad, hands-on Finance Assistant opportunity covering the full range of transactional finance. This role involves working across:
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Expenses
You will support the finance team day-to-day. There’s genuine opportunity to expand beyond processing as you progress. Ideal for someone early in their career, looking to learn, take on more responsibility, and pursue a professional qualification—with full study support included.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and code purchase invoices; manage the AP ledger
- Raise sales invoices; chase outstanding receivables
- Process and reconcile employee expense claims
- Support with bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end tasks and reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Support the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required
Essential Experience
- Around 12-18 months of experience in a transactional finance role
- Exposure to AP or AR (both preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, comfortable with handling high volumes
- Organised, reliable, and possessing good communication skills
- Enthusiasm for professional development and taking on more responsibility over time

Desirable Experience
- Studying or planning to study AAT, CIMA, or ACCA
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or similar solutions
Package
- Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
- Study support: Full study support package for AAT/CIMA/ACCA
- Location: London Bridge, 5 days per week in the office
