Finance Assistant

Fixed-Term Contract (12 Months Maternity Cover)

Based at our Head Office in Whyteleafe, Surrey (CR3 0GG), just outside of Croydon.

Hybrid working pattern, with Tuesdays and Thursdays in the office, remaining hours from home.

If you love getting stuck into the detail, enjoy working with numbers, and want to learn how Finance keeps a business running behind the scenes, this could be the perfect role for you.

The role

You'll gain hands-on experience across cash management, reconciliations, reporting, and day-to-day finance activities, while working alongside a supportive team who will help you learn and grow along the way.

  • Accounts Payable: Process and verify invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and ensure timely payments to maintain good vendor relationships.
  • Reconciliation: Assist with reconciling bank statements, accounts and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
  • Data Management: Accurately input financial data into accounting software and maintain organized records.
  • Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Support with creating budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Support: Provide support to the finance team and assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
  • Champion the Ann Summers values: acting as a role model in everything you do.
