Finance Assistant – Kingspan Insulation
Location & Hours
Based in Pembridge, Herefordshire Work schedule: 39 hours per week, Monday – Friday
About the Role
We’re looking for a ** Finances Assistant** to join our team and support ** Accounts Payable** alongside broader finance operations. Based at our manufacturing site in Pembridge, Herefordshire, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring smooth financial processing and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Supporting the Accounts Payable team and broader Finance Department by handling:

- Invoice & expense processing in SoftCo and SAP
- Delay-free recording of purchase-order and non-PO invoices
- Ensuring cost approvals align with the authority matrix
- Supplier & stakeholder communication
- Resolving invoice queries and verifying costs
- Expense management
- Reviewing and challenging claims via Concur against the Kingspan Expense Policy
- Supplier reconciliations
- Generating statement reconciliations for Accounts Payable Manager accuracy checks
- Supplier maintenance
- Validating, updating, and maintaining supplier details in SAP upon change notifications
- Process improvement initiatives
- Supporting P2P (Procure-to-Pay) projects and Continuous Improvement in Finance
What We Need From You
Essential Skills
- Strong Excel skills (data manipulation, analysis)
- Problem-solving ability to challenge inefficiencies in current processes

Preferred Background
(Essential for successful applicants, if possible)
- Accounting qualification (e.g., AAT/CIMA or equivalent audit experience)
- Relevant professional development (ongoing training/certifications)
- Previous experience in:
- Finance or Audit departments
- A manufacturing organisation
- Using SAP (or SoftCo)
