Role: Finance Assistant Sector: Beauty Communications Agency Location: Central London Permanent: Hybrid 3 days working in the office, 2 days from home Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 Reference: VisionFR 3289
VisionFR is delighted to be seeking a Finance Assistant on behalf of our client, a growing beauty communications agency. You’ll be a vital member of the team, handling end-to-end Accounts Payable and supporting a strong finance team.
Finance Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Management of Accounts Payable Inbox
- Process purchase invoices
- New Vendor creation process
- Respond and engage with suppliers via email and telephone, resolving queries in a timely and appropriate manner
- Prepare weekly supplier pay runs and input all bank payment entries to the accounting system
- Manage and prepare payments for staff expenses
- Process bank and BACS payments to suppliers and send remittance advices
- Aged Creditor reporting - Monitoring monthly
- Credit card reconciliation
- Supplier reconciliations and maintenance of ledgers
- Facilitate AP Month end closing within the deadline
- Provide requested documentation for audits

Finance Assistant Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a creative agency.
- Genuine desire to learn and progress rapidly
- Knowledge of finance systems
- The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and a hard-working, diligent attitude and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Paprika desirable
- Good A’ levels essential
- Ideally a finance degree
- Full Right to Work in the UK
- Must understand marketing and communications/media/entertainment environment
