As a Finance Associate - Accounts Payable Specialist (Associate) at Kainos, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of accounting tasks. You will be working as part of a Finance team within a fast- paced PLC environment to effectively deliver support for the core business.

The Key Responsibilities For This Role Include

Accurately enter supplier invoices to the accounting system for approval on a timely basis. Generate payments to suppliers for approved invoiced in line with approved payment processes. Review automatic payments (e.g. direct debits) to ensure appropriately authorised and documentation received. Respond to external suppliers and internal colleagues regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process. Performing supplier statement reconciliations. Complete new supplier set up process. Assist with bank reconciliations. Providing support to the rest of the Finance as required.

Minimum (essential) Requirements

Ability to work efficiently and comfortably prioritise your workload in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines A self-starter who can work on their own initiatives with minimal supervision Sound verbal and written communication skills with both staff and external stakeholders We all work in teams here in Kainos – a proven ability of strong team skills, including taking direction from others, is crucial Highly flexible, including willingness to work flexible hours at peak times Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Outlook and Word. Sound knowledge of Workday, or a similar accounting package Ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes.
