Evolito’s mission is to accelerate the adoption of electric propulsion in aerospace applications in support of a net-zero world. We will help to revolutionise personal mobility and transform our towns and cities with clean, noise-free air transportation.

Evolito develops and manufactures class-leading, lightweight, high-power, and high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for a range of aerospace markets, including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and General Aviation.

As well as ultra-high performance, low-weight electric motors and controllers, Evolito specialises in high integrity, bespoke battery systems for the aerospace and defence markets. The team is scaling rapidly and has ambitious growth plans over the next twelve to eighteen months.

As part of our current high-growth phase, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the team to act as a strategic partner to the business, working closely with internal stakeholders to provide robust financial planning and analysis, driving cost control and contributing key inputs into the decision-making process.

Key responsibilities will include:

Provide robust financial planning, analysis, and commercial acumen to the business Develop strong relationships across the business Develop tools to track and report on all cost and income streams Regularly feed updates into the live Group forecasting model Collaborate cross-functionally to track performance versus budget for all cost areas, including programmes Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to support programme and business reviews Work alongside the Sales and Programme teams to drive the delivery of revenue milestones Lead the year-end budget and quarterly reforecasting processes Work with department and programme leads to set financial targets and objectives Track performance against financial targets and objectives Monitor performance against budget and forecasts, identifying opportunities and risks Provide strategic support to the business, driving the organisation's financial performance Support the team with forecasting, cost control, and risk management Preparation of financial data with the support of the wider team.

Skills and experience required: Degree level education and/or ACA, ACCA, MBA or CFA qualified Previous proven experience within a similar role, ideally in an engineering environment Strong knowledge of Excel, Power BI and other planning/analysis tools A 'self-starter' attitude with energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a small business environment Comfortable working in a team, equally adept at working with finance and other colleagues Ability to work under pressure while managing conflicting demands against tight deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills A flexible approach to work.

Desirable: Proven experience in the aerospace or automotive industry.
