Finance Business Partner / Accountant
Location – Bradford
Salary – £based on experience
About the company:
A large, national business with a manufacturing site based in Bradford. Combination business partnering & accounting role, site-based & working closely with non-finance stakeholders to drive profitability, cost-saving, and deliver financial reporting. You’ll be working in a true value-add role, that would suit someone proactive, resilient, and who will ultimately work with non-finance & finance stakeholders to find and deliver value (particularly measured in £s).

Responsibilities include:
- Business partnering the site operation managers
- Help identify cost savings and opportunities to increase volume to improve site profitability
- Working directly with all stakeholders at the Manufacturing site and the trading teams
- Prepare weekly and periodic financial reporting, including the preparation and posting of accruals and prepayments
- Ensure strong financial controls are in place
- Be involved in all strategic projects and Capital expenditure plans at site

Skills/Qualifications required:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Auditing/accounting/FP&A background
- Good communication skills, capable of partnering non-finance stakeholders
- Commercial acumen
- Proactive
- Resilient
