Finance Business Partner
Citadel Source are delighted to be supporting a fast-growing retail business in recruiting a Finance Business Partner. This is a key role within a high-performing finance team, helping to scale and professionalise the finance function.
The Role
As the Finance Business Partner, reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will be instrumental in adding value and contributing to commercial decisions based on sound financial fact and analysis. Daily responsibilities will include control and responsibility over all Division finances, processes, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with commercial, operational, and senior leadership teams to provide clear, actionable financial insight
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
- Deliver monthly management reporting and variance analysis
- Identify opportunities for growth, cost savings, and improved efficiency
- Challenge assumptions and support data-driven decision-making
- Be a key contributor to cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Create better management information (MI) in the logistics arm to report to senior finance
- Develop a KPI pack to manage and drive the expansion of the division

What the Client is Looking For
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Experience in managing relationships and effectively influencing senior non-financial management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial colleagues
- Experience in performing detailed financial performance analysis, adhering to high standards of accuracy and presentation
- Strong planning and time management skills with the ability to meet exacting deadlines
- A mixture of analytical, commercial, and persuasion skills
- Sage experience – desirable
