Finance Business Partner

Finance Business Partner

This is a commercially focused role within a fast-paced organisation. As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with operational stakeholders to provide financial insight, influence strategic decision-making, and support complex business initiatives. Offering broad exposure, genuine stakeholder engagement, and the chance to add real value, this position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems and challenging the status quo.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver weekly forecasts and meaningful financial insight to senior stakeholders and partner with operational teams to provide commercial finance support, supporting fast-paced decision-making.
  • Build financial models, perform scenario analysis, and develop business cases to support strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and data transparency through automation and continuous improvement.
  • Support the completion of year-end reporting within demanding reporting deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive and enhance commercial performance.

Requirements

  • Qualified with either:

    • ACA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
    • ACCA (Chartered Certified Accountant)
    • CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)

    with approximately 2-3 years’ post-qualified experience.

  • Previous experience in Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, or FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis).

  • Strong skills in forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling, maintaining a forward-looking commercial mindset.

  • Confidence in partnering with senior stakeholders and the ability to translate financial information into meaningful commercial insights.

  • Naturally curious, analytical approach with the ability to solve complex problems.

  • Strong Excel skills with exposure to ERP systems and business intelligence tools, such as Power BI.

  • Experience from a manufacturing or other product-led environment is desirable.
  • Comfortable competing within a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment where adaptability is essential.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to constructively challenge stakeholders.

Benefits

  • Salary: £65,000 - £70,000, excluding bonus.
  • Strong benefits package available.
  • This role is 100% site-based.
