Senior Finance Business Partner
Commercial Finance | Business & Asset Growth
Seeking a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to act as the primary financial co-pilot for our commercial and business development divisions. This is an impactful, forward-looking role, focused on driving profitable growth, maximising the financial yield of our existing asset base, and securing future revenue streams. You will serve as the strategic interface between Corporate Finance and the Sales / Business Development leadership teams, ensuring all commercial proposals, contract renewals, and new business bids are optimised.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Bid & Pipeline Support
- Partner directly with Sales and Business Development teams to:
- Model, price, and structure proposals for major new business opportunities.

Contract Lifecycle & Renewals Management
- Lead the financial strategy and underwriting for high-stakes, multi-year contract renewals.

Strategic Business Partnering
- Challenge and support commercial leaders as a trusted finance advisor.
- Translate financial performance, volume variances, and pipeline trends into actionable business insights.
- Optimise sales strategies and commercial behaviours using data-driven strategies.

Financial Modelling & Investment Appraisal
- Build and maintain sophisticated pricing models.

Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor and report on post-signature financial performance of key contracts against initial business cases.
- Identify margin leakage and implement corrective commercial initiatives.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Essential
- Professional Certification: Fully qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA (or equivalent international accounting qualification).
- Commercial Exposure: Proven experience in a dedicated Commercial Finance, Finance Business Partnering, or Deal Structuring role within a B2B corporate environment.
- Deal & Contract Experience:
- Demonstrated track record in assessing large-scale B2B commercial bids.
- Experience with complex pricing models.
- Hands-on experience in managing multi-year contract renewals or renegotiations.
