Job Responsibilities
Your role as a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist at JD.com will focus on strategic financial leadership and operational excellence across global operations.
1. Financial Planning & Performance Management
- Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes
- Continuously monitor financial performance against targets and recommend data-driven strategic adjustments
- Optimize resource allocation and assist functional teams in decomposing and executing financial goals to drive operational success

2. Business Analysis & Insight Generation
- Design and develop a comprehensive business KPI framework for performance tracking and continuous improvement
- Create analytical reports to diagnose variances and conduct root-cause analysis
- Propose actionable insights to enhance cost efficiency, operational excellence, and profit optimization
3. Strategic Decision Support & Business Partnership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate project feasibility and business investments
- Provide data-backed financial solutions to support strategic decisions
- Serve as a trusted advisor to resolve cross-functional bottlenecks and execute business initiatives
4. Risk & Compliance Oversight
- Proactively identify financial and operational risks, including revenue recognition integrity and control deficiencies
- Monitor cash flow, receivables, and payables to mitigate risk exposures (liquidity, bad debt)
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
5. Process & System Enablement
- Design financial data models, BI dashboards, and automated analytical tools for improved reporting and efficiency
- Support the development of scalable financial systems to address evolving operational needs
6. Strategic Projects & Team Development
- Lead initiatives in industry benchmarking, competitor analysis, and FP&A methodology standardization
- Deliver financial training programs to elevate team capabilities and deepen financial literacy across the business

Job Requirements
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), business finance, or finance analytics
- Prefer experience in a fast-paced cross-border or multinational environment
Proficiencies & Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root-cause analysis
- Expertise in Excel (including advanced functions, pivot tables), ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and business intelligence (Tableau/Power BI)
- Ability to build financial models and develop actionable business insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with operational teams

Language Preferences
- Fluency in English (preferred)
