Finance Business Partner

The Opportunity

Our client, a highly successful and fast-growing international drinks business, is looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to support its UK and International Commercial teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional to partner with key stakeholders across sales, supply chain, and finance, providing the insight and analysis needed to drive strategic decision-making and business performance.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting commercial initiatives, improving forecasting accuracy, and identifying opportunities for growth across UK and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting into the Commercial Finance Team, responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with UK and International Commercial teams to provide financial insight that supports strategic decision-making.
  • Delivering commercial analysis across pricing, promotional activity, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Producing weekly and monthly management information (MI) and performance reporting.
  • Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process through the preparation of financial models, templates, and reporting.
  • Consolidating international sales P&Ls and providing clear financial visibility across multiple markets.
  • Developing rolling forecasts to monitor business performance and identify emerging trends.
  • Analysing commercial performance to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Playing a key role in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between Commercial, Supply Chain, and FP&A.
  • Enhancing reporting capabilities through tools such as Power BI, Adaptive Planning, and Excel.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to improve processes and support commercial objectives.

About You

Our client is seeking a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and using data to influence business decisions.

Ideal Experience & Qualifications

You will ideally have:

  • A degree with a strong academic background.
  • Part-qualified status (CIMA, ACCA, ACA/CA, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance, or Financial Analyst role.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience managing and analysing large datasets.
  • Experience using reporting and planning tools such as Power BI, Adaptive Planning, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
