We’re delighted to be recruiting a Finance Business Partner vacancy on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering-led organisation based in Oakham, Rutland. This Finance Business Partner role offers the opportunity to operate at a senior level, partnering closely with leadership to influence strategic decision-making and drive commercial performance within a complex, evolving environment.
Salary: £60,000 + profit share bonus + excellent benefits
Location: Oakham, Rutland

Senior leadership exposure with genuine strategic influence
Duties and responsibilities
- Partner with the Managing Director and senior leadership team to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning cycles
- Produce insightful management accounts, board reports and performance analysis
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, cash flow and operational efficiency
- Support pricing strategy, investment decisions and growth initiatives, including international activity
- Develop financial models and business cases to support future projects and expansion
- Strengthen financial controls, reporting processes and governance frameworks

Required skills and experience
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner, Financial Controller or senior commercial finance role
- Background within manufacturing, engineering or a similar sector
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly
- Experience of producing management accounts, budgets and forecasts
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems
- Confident in influencing senior stakeholders and providing constructive challenge
