Finance Business Partner – IT
Salary: £60,000 Location: London Bridge / Hybrid Working
Do you enjoy building meaningful reports, collaborating with senior stakeholders, and tackling practical business challenges?
We’re searching for a Finance Business Partner with a strong commercial mindset to join our client’s IT finance team. This role is perfect for someone developing their finance career who thrives on diving into detailed work, constructing Excel models, and solving problems when answers aren’t immediately clear.
Within a fast-moving IT function, you’ll work closely with senior leaders in Finance and Technology, supporting areas such as budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and project decision-making.

Responsibilities
Key tasks include:
- Developing and refining Excel-based reports, forecasting models, and cost analysis.
- Compiling and presenting monthly reporting packs and conducting variance analysis.
- Utilising data to help stakeholders make better-informed decisions.
- Assisting with budgets and forecasts for IT projects and operational spend.
- Collaborating with senior finance and technology leaders across the business.
Additionally, you’ll:
- Apply your initiative, curiosity, and commercial thinking to address financial and operational challenges.
- Engage actively in vendor reporting, demand planning, and project prioritisation.
Requirements
Candidates should possess or be nearing the following:
- Accounting qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Strong Excel abilities—particularly with data manipulation, modelling, and creating reports.
- Proactive, organised, and resilient communication with senior stakeholders.
- Problem-solving skills, ability to dig into details comfortably.
- Interest in technology, systems, or IT finance is advantageous.

Technical skills would provide benefits, but are not essential:
- Power Query, OneStream, SmartView, or Oracle experience.
