Leeds City Centre | £50,000–£60,000 DOE + Bonus + Excellent Benefits | Hybrid Working (2 Days in Office)

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner looking to join a high-performing finance team within a fast-paced, growing organisation. Working closely with a Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll become a trusted adviser to one or more executive functions, providing financial insight, commercial challenge and decision support that directly influences business performance.

This is a highly visible role offering genuine exposure to senior stakeholders, broad commercial responsibility and an excellent platform for career development within a progressive finance function.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Partner with one or more executive functions, providing financial support and commercial challenge.
  • Support the annual budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives.
  • Produce insightful financial reporting, analysis and commentary to drive improved business performance.
  • Monitor financial and operational performance against budgets and KPIs, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Support revenue and cost forecasting, understanding the key commercial drivers behind performance.
  • Challenge spending decisions and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and deliver value for money.
  • Support headcount planning and approvals, working closely with HR and operational stakeholders.
  • Assist with the design, costing and monitoring of commission schemes and incentive plans where applicable.
  • Provide commercial input into pricing decisions, contract approvals and investment appraisals where required.
  • Build strong relationships across Finance, FP&A, Financial Control and wider business functions to ensure robust financial governance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function, enhancing processes, reporting and ways of working.

What We're Looking For

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance or equivalent role.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information and communicate clear recommendations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a genuine passion for partnering with the business and driving performance.
