Commercial Finance Business Partner
12-Month FTC (view to perm)
Up to £70,000
London - Hybrid
Are you a qualified finance professional who wants to be more than just the numbers?
We're supporting a leading consumer goods business in the search for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing and Supply Chain, providing financial insight that influences strategic decisions and drives business performance.
The Role
You'll act as a true business partner, helping the wider business understand performance, identify opportunities and make commercially sound decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with Commercial, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to provide financial insight and challenge
- Producing meaningful analysis across customer, category and brand performance
- Leading month-end reporting, variance analysis and management commentary
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Building financial models to support strategic decision making
- Analysing commercial investment and measuring ROI
- Driving process improvements and improving financial understanding across the wider business
- Delivering ad hoc commercial analysis to support key business initiatives

About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with stakeholders and using financial data to influence decisions.
You'll ideally bring:
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA status (essential)
- Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance Analyst or similar role
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
- Experience within FMCG or another fast-paced consumer environment would be advantageous
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge, influence and add value across the business
