We are seeking a Finance Business Partner

Reporting into a Lead Business Partner, this role partners with business leaders to support financial planning, performance management and commercial decision making across Capability/s and/or Region.

We're looking for a dynamic, collaborative and commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and brings a proactive, can-do attitude. The successful candidate will be comfortable challenging and influencing stakeholders, translating financial data into clear, actionable business insight, and continually identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.

As a strong team player, they will build trusted relationships across the business and help deliver meaningful commercial impact through high-quality financial support and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Planning

  • Partner with business leaders to deliver budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, providing clear insight into risks, opportunities and business performance.
  • Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling, scenario analysis and commercial recommendations.
  • Improve forecasting accuracy and planning processes, including automation and the evolution towards rolling forecasts.
  • Support cash forecasting and working capital performance where relevant.

Performance Reporting & Insight

  • Produce timely management reporting and performance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year.
  • Deliver meaningful financial and operational insights, translating complex data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Analyse revenue, margin and profitability trends at client, project and capability level to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition, invoicing and financial data through close collaboration with commercial and finance teams.

Systems & Continuous Improvement

  • Champion improvements to financial systems and planning tools (e.g. Planful) to enhance reporting, forecasting and decision support.
  • Drive process improvements through automation, AI and data-led solutions to increase efficiency and insight.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Build strong relationships across Finance and the wider business, acting as a trusted commercial partner.
  • Contribute to Finance's continuous improvement agenda, sharing best practice and supporting the development of a high-performing finance function.

Requirements

Essential

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with 4-5 years relevant financial experience gained in an industry environment
  • Good understanding of financial management & business processes
  • Experience gained in FP&A and/or commercial finance roles
  • Strong analytical & technical skills
  • Flexibility required to succeed in an entrepreneurial/high growth company
  • Good, confident communicator, able to provide insight & guidance to senior stakeholders & boards & an ability to influence
  • Ability to work collegiately with finance colleagues & business customers
  • Continuous improvement mindset

Desirable

  • Experience working for a SME
  • Experience working for global business
  • Experience in sports or a related entertainment industry
  • Experience in a people-led agency environment
  • Comfortable with a change environment and driving automation and process change
  • Experience using a financial planning system (such as Planful, Anaplan)
  • Personal empathy with sports
