The role
Are you a commercially driven finance professional who thrives on turning data into insight that shapes real decisions? At Riviera Travel, this is more than just a finance role. You will partner closely with our Product, Transport and Guest Experience teams, sitting right at the heart of the business where commercial decisions are made. From shaping margins to influencing investment choices, your insight will directly impact both performance and the journeys we create. Key responsibilities
- Act as the commercial finance partner for Product, Transport and Guest Experience, providing clear insight on margin, cost, revenue and operational performance
- Lead margin reviews, translating variances, trends, risks and opportunities into clear actions and quantified financial benefits
- Provide financial modelling and commercial challenge for charter pricing, supplier negotiations, commercial agreements, commission schemes and sales targets
- Assess the financial impact of itinerary changes, product initiatives, guest compensation and post-sale discounts
- Challenge business cases and investment decisions using return, payback, risk and sensitivity analysis
- Work with FP&A, Core Finance and business teams to improve itinerary, country and product-level margin analysis, cost assumptions and forecast accuracy
- Lead budgeting and reforecasting for gross margin, transport, guest experience, operations, people and overhead costs
- Improve reporting quality, automate repeatable analysis and strengthen forecasting processes with Finance, Data and operational teams
- Manage, coach and develop one direct report

Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant, ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with experience in finance business partnering, commercial finance or a similar role
- Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis skills.
- Comfortable working with large data sets and able to identify the key commercial drivers behind performance
- Commercially astute, confident challenging assumptions and able to influence senior stakeholders constructively
- Clear communicator, able to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues in a practical and engaging way
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, ERP systems or reporting automation tools would be advantageous
- Experience in travel, transport, leisure, consumer-facing businesses or a private equity-backed environment would be beneficial
