Finance Business Partner

Renfrewshire | Manufacturing Sector | Up to £65,000 + Benefits

Our client is a successful and growing manufacturing business based in Renfrewshire. Due to continued investment and growth, they are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their finance team and play a key role in supporting operational and commercial decision-making across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders and influencing business performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will act as a trusted business partner to operational and departmental leaders, providing financial insight, analysis, and challenge to support strategic and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, and Production teams to drive business performance.
  • Providing robust financial analysis and commercial insight to support decision-making.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
  • Delivering meaningful KPI reporting and performance analysis.
  • Identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for operational improvement.
  • Analysing manufacturing costs, margins, labour efficiency, and business performance trends.
  • Developing financial models and business cases to support investment and improvement initiatives.
  • Challenging assumptions and influencing stakeholders to drive profitability and efficiency.
  • Supporting month-end reporting and financial planning activities as required.

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:

  • A fully qualified accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven Finance Business Partnering experience within a commercial or operational environment.
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, FMCG, or industrial business.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • The confidence to challenge and influence senior management and operational teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and Power BI would be advantageous.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong commercial mindset.
