Overview

Finance Business Partner, Business Performance (2 x 12 Month Fixed Term Contracts)

Within finance at Screwfix, we're transforming the way we work to support the Next Level of Screwfix growth. We're looking for two commercially minded Finance Business Partners to join our Business Performance finance team on 12 month fixed term contracts, helping shape key decisions across Commercial, Customer & Digital.

This is far more than a traditional finance role. You'll partner with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight, strategic challenge and robust financial analysis that influence investment decisions, optimise business performance and support change. From promotions and pricing to digital investment and customer initiatives, you'll turn complex data into meaningful insight, ensuring every decision delivers value for our customers and the business.

Key responsibilities

Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you'll support high profile transformation projects, measure the impact of investment, identify opportunities for improvement and drive better commercial outcomes. One of these opportunities also includes line management responsibility for two Finance Analysts, developing talent while strengthening the wider Commercial Finance team.

Required Skills & Experience

What we're looking for

We're looking for qualified accountants who are commercially curious, agile and passionate about making a difference. You'll be a natural business partner who enjoys building relationships, influencing stakeholders and challenging the status quo to improve performance. Confident communicating with both finance and non-finance colleagues, you'll be able to translate complex information into clear, actionable insight. If you're proactive, adaptable and motivated by using finance to shape business decisions rather than simply reporting the numbers, we'd love to hear from you.
